Key Points:
Axie Classic Competitive Season 6 is LIVE for four weeks! Over 35K AXS is also up for grabs. This is the last season where guilds can earn Placement Points before the 2nd Guild War. Season and both leaderboards will run until November 25th at 8 AM PH / November 24th at 8 PM EST. Mini Tournaments last until December 2nd at 8 AM PH / December 1st at 8 PM EST.
Axie Delegation is now LIVE in-game! Delegate axies and rise through the ranks of the new Manager Delegation Leaderboard. Level 2 Card Effects are also here. Test 33 cards with level 2 effects in the Cursed Coliseum.
We’ve updated the Guild Point system to address player burnout. We’ve also introduced a few Guild Point changes to both Mini Tournaments and Cursed Coliseum sessions.
The Season Championship will revert to the 16-player format from the previous 32-player format.
Premium Pass changes are also live, and lottery tickets now replace AXS/SLP rewards. Check it out for a chance to win collectible axies by the end of the season!
Axie Classic Competitive Season 6 is LIVE! The season will run for 4 weeks and feature a 1 week offseason. Battle it out, climb the leaderboards, and earn rewards. A flurry of new features also went live including Axie Delegation, Level 2 Card Effects (for Cursed Coliseum), and Guild Chat. Here’s what’s new this season!
Let’s get down to business: There’s over 35K AXS up for grabs over the next four weeks. However, keep in mind that both the Arena and Guild Leaderboard will close on November 25th at 8 AM PH / November 24th at 8 PM EST. That means you’ll only have three weeks to battle it out for those rewards. Here’s an overview of the AXS on the line:
Guild Leaderboard: 10,000 AXS in prizes + 3,000 AXS prize pool for reaching Guild Point miletones
Mini Tournaments: 500 AXS prize pool per day (spread evenly across two shifts)
Golden Wheel: Get a chance to win AXS from the Golden Wheel per spin!
Season Championship: 3,000 AXS prize pool
Note: this is the last season of the Competitive Circuit’s 2nd leg. That means it’s your guild’s last chance to earn Placement Points before the second Guild War!
Axie Delegation is now LIVE in Axie Classic! Delegate your axies to other players — like scholarships. Here’s how the feature works for Classic Guilds:
This is simple and straightforward: First, go to the App.Axie Delegation Center or the Batch Delegation Tool. Next, delegate your axies. The delegated axie will show up in your Scholar’s inventory.
Note: Only 1 user can play with a particular axie in a given day. For example, if a manager plays with an axie, he cannot delegate that axie until the day ends. If a scholar plays with an axie but the manager revokes it, the axie will remain with the scholar until the day ends.
This is a more complex form of delegation because the Scholar’s role in a Guild will affect the Delegation. For example, a Guild Leader will have a different experience from a Guild Commander. Here’s what we mean:
For more information on how to access the guild delegation page as well as the flow of delegation, please visit the Classic Wiki – Guild Delegation System.
When Season 6 officially goes live, we’ll have a leaderboard to determine who’s the best manager. Managers/delegators who earn AXP via their delegated axies from the start of the season until the end of the season will win AXS based on their ranking. Check out the leaderboard here, and for other details, check this post.
Level 2 card effects are here! Test 33 cards with level 2 effects in the Cursed Coliseum. This is an early version of this feature, which means none of these effects are final. The team will monitor how these cards interact with other cards in the game, listen to feedback from the community, and adjust as needed.
Notes on Level 2 Effect Changes
For this season, the level 2 cards will only be used in the Cursed Coliseum. To go along with this, we’ll change how the cursing in the Coliseum work to ensure proper implementation of the level 2 cards. Here are some things to remember:
There will still be 2 cards that will be cursed per Cursed Coliseum entry.
Each card that gets cursed will now have three random cards that will be available for the players to choose from:
1 card will be from all the cards that are not part of the pool of cards with level 2 effects (all the cards that are NOT INCLUDED in the above picture).
2 cards will be from all the cards that are part of the pool of cards with level 2 part effects (all the cards that ARE INCLUDED in the above picture).
From the 1st until 6th cursing, the 2 cards with level 2 effects that will appear is based on what card was cursed:
If a reptile card gets cursed → 2 random plant cards in the level 2 part effect pool of cards.
If a beast card gets cursed → 2 random bug cards in the level 2 part effect pool of cards.
If a bird card gets cursed → 2 random aquatic cards in the level 2 part effect pool of cards
For the 7th cursing, a cursed card still has 3 random cards to choose from. The difference is, a card with the level 2 effect can be cursed, and the above conditions are disregarded.
For example: I’m in my 7th CC round with a running score of 6-1, and my level 2 plant card gets cursed. The choices are still the same (1 random card, 2 cards with level 2 effect), but the choices can contain another plant card with level 2 effects.
Players can now enter the Cursed Coliseum an unlimited number of times regardless of Chest availability. Based on the community’s feedback, we’re also changing the amount of points available from the Cursed Coliseum. We moved away from having the x2 multiplier after the session that was previously leaked, and you’ll find the latest point breakdown in the table below:
Mini Tournaments are back with AXS rewards and an updated Guild Point reward system! Please take a look at the table below and compare the number of Guild Points — before and after. Shifting time didn’t change, so for details like these, please visit the Classic Wiki – Mini Tournament page.
This season, Mini Tournaments will start from November 5, 2024 8 AM PH / November 4, 2024 8 PM EST until December 2, 2024 8 AM PH / December 1, 2024 8 PM EST.
In September, we spoke addressing burnout in Classic players. After gathering community feedback, we’ve implemented a new system for Guild Point Calculation in the demo season — and it will go live in this coming Competitive Season 6. Here’s how it’ll work:
Guild Points from Mini Tournament and all Cursed Coliseum sessions are no longer additive. Instead, the system takes the highest amount of Guild Points earned in either of the modes, and whichever Coliseum session has the best record. Referencing the GP tables above, here’s an example:
I started my day by playing Mini Tournaments in Master Tier, and end up winning 2 out of 10 games. This will award me with 8 GP only, and the game will hold on to this GP as my highest GP earned so far.
I then decided to play CC and on my first two runs, I got a record of 1-2 and 0-2 (W/L). Since both sessions only give out 2 GP and 0 GP respectively, the game will still hold on to my record of 8 GP as my highest GP earned today.
Remembering that CC now has unlimited sessions, I decided to play for the third time and miraculously got a record of 7-1 (W/L). This means I’ll earn 16 GP and have the game record this as my highest GP earned today.
Since I had obtained 8 GP earlier from the MT, the game will REPLACE (not add!) the 8 GP with the 16 GP I earned from CC. Thus, the GP I’ll have by the end of the day is 16 GP.
If I have 3 axies in the vault, that will ADD to my highest GP today, which means I’ll have 19 GP (final).
The game will only record the 50 HIGHEST GP-EARNING MEMBERS of your guild. Let’s take a look at another example:
My guild has 56 members. They all earned GP today, with the 50th member earning 10 GP and the 51st member earning 9 GP.
By 00 UTC, the GP going towards the guild’s progression in the leaderboard will only be until the 50th member of the guild.
We also have this cool UI to show how much GP you earned so far today. This can’t be seen by any other players but you.
We’ve also changed when these guild points arrive.
Mini Tournament GP arrives after the shift you played in is finished (along with gold/AXS rewards).
Cursed Coliseum GP arrives after your session (if you win 7 times or lose 2 times) OR it arrives by 01 UTC if you have not finished the session.
The Guild Leaderboard is BACK! Climb the leaderboard to earn AXS until November 25 at 8 AM PH / November 24 at 8 PM EST. Guild Milestones have also returned with an additional 3,000 AXS for every guild to share. We have introduced updates to the milestones based on feedback during the demo season, so check out the table below:
*Disclaimer: The AXS column is the MAX AXS amount a guild that achieved that milestone will get. IF there are more guilds that reached the milestone, the calculation would be:
AXS = 1,000 / Total Guild that Achieved The Milestone
This is how the current milestone system works, and there will be no changes aside from the number of Guild Points needed to achieve said milestone.
And there’s moar! We’ve even introduced a tie feature — if two or more guilds finish the season with the exact number of points, they’ll share the AXS rewards. For example:
Guild 1 and Guild 2 are both Rank 1 and Rank 2 in the leaderboard respectively with exactly 30,000 GP (both of them). The game will recognize this and calculate their AXS rewards with the following formula: Total AXS earned by both guilds / Number of guilds had the same guild points.
Get ready to grind the Arena once more! We have reset the MMR back to zero again, and everyone has an equal opportunity to rise to the top. Until November 25, 2024 8 AM PH / November 24, 2024 8 PM EST, players can grind the leaderboard and have a chance to qualify for the S6 Season Championship with a prize pool of 3000 AXS. We have also introduced a change to the Season Championship’s format:
We’re moving back to the 16-player format after hearing feedback about the 32-player setup. Here’s how it’ll work:
Tournament format: Double Elimination
Battle Passes and Premium Passes are back, which means you can once again progress by grinding Arena MMR. We’ve introduced updates to the Premium Pass this season, replacing all AXS/SLP rewards with a collectible axie lottery ticket. We’ll draw these towards the end of the season. Earn up to 11 lottery tickets when you finish the Premium Pass for a chance to win an Origin axie!
Tier 1 (1 slot): 1 Origin axie
Tier 2 (4 slots): 1 Japan axie
Tier 3 (40 slots): 1 Summer axie
Tier 4 (400 slots): 1 Normal axie
Tier 5 (remaining): 100 Gold
Some other changes:
NEW Halloween Banner when you purchase the Premium Pass this season.
Rewards will be auto-granted once players hit a milestone after winning a game.
Premium Pass price cut from 5000 gems to 1500 gems.
Mystic owners get a 100% discount code for each Mystic Axie in their inventory.
Season 6 will be the LAST season for the 100% gem bonus, so stock up if needed!
You can view how many tickets you earned by checking the Premium Pass menu.
Guild chat is here! Chat directly with your guild mates inside the Classic client and show them you’re online. Here’s how it works:
