Axie Classic has a new look! Today, we added upgraded art to Axie Classic. This update may introduce a few unexpected bugs, and we’ll work through any issues over the next week or so. More details below.
The Axie Classic Competitive Season 3 is ON! There’s a lot at stake — a 2000 AXS Season Championship and a slot for the Axie Classic World Cup. Get back in the game and climb your way to the top of the Arena Leaderboard or dominate the Grand Tournament. Make it to the Top 8 from either path.
Unleash your guild’s potential and dominate the Guild S3 Leaderboard! 10,000 AXS is on the line. On top of that, an extra 3,000 AXS rewards is up for achieving Guild Milestones.
This season is your guild’s last chance to get those juicy Placement Points! Guild War 1, with a 5K AXS prize pool, is just around the corner. We’ve released an important update for the Private Tournament feature! You now have the power to remove any unwanted participants from your tournament. This update will enhance your hosting experience.

You’ve heard the hints. You’ve looked at the leeks. It’s time to reveal what we’ve been keeping under wraps… Upgraded art in Axie Classic is LIVE! We’ve also improved the Classic interface to align with the new vibe.
This update may introduce a few unexpected bugs, and we’ll work through any issues over the next week or so. If everything goes according to plan, we’ll release a final version of the new Classic art by the end of next week.
Today, we kicked off the Competitive Season 3 Arena Leaderboard! After crowning Chan | YGG as our Season 2 champion, this is a chance for more players to qualify for the Axie Classic World Cup. 2000 AXS is at stake in this season’s ultimate battle. Remember, there are two ways you can qualify for the Season Championship:
Place Top 8 on the Seasonal Arena Leaderboard, or
Place Top 8 in the Grand Tournament Knockout Phase
Get ready to conquer the 6th Grand Tournament, another route to the Season Championship! Registration opens in-game from May 23rd at 9 AM UTC to May 28th at 3 AM UTC. Fight your way to the top of the Knockout Phase and secure your spot in the prestigious Season Championship.
As a reminder, the Knockout Phase goes on for 5 rounds. In every round, players get sorted into divisions and leaderboards. Players rack up wins in each match and score Guild Points during the Knockout Phase. Here’s what that looks like:

Get your teammates ready for the Guild Leaderboard Season 3! We’ve reset both guild points and individual MMRs for this new season. The Guild Leaderboard is live from May 23rd at 9 AM UTC to June 11th at 9 AM UTC. Compete with your guild to the top for a share in 10K AXS prize pool and the coveted Guild Wars Placement Points. The top 8 guilds with the highest placement points at the end of this season will qualify for Guild Wars 1 (SEA). Here is the current leaderboard showing the placement points after Season 2 ended:

We’ve got exciting news about the Cursed Coliseum! We’ve limited the daily run from 8 to 6, which means players can complete their daily sessions faster from now on. This change was the result of feedback from the top guild leaders in Axie Classic. Our aim is to ensure a healthier and more sustainable experience while also discouraging multi-accounting.
Aside from winning in Grand Tournament matches, don’t forget that every victory at the Cursed Coliseum helps you and your guild earn Guild Points too. As your guild gets more points, it unlocks additional exciting rewards. These include a portion of the 3000 AXS prize pool from the Guild Milestone.
We’ve refreshed the Guild Milestones system to prepare for the influx of new guilds. If guilds exceed the target number of guilds for a certain milestone, they will split the total reward for that milestone among themselves. Still, the most AXS a guild can earn from the milestones is 260 AXS.
When we launched the Private Tournament feature, we empowered hundreds of communities to host tournaments their way. Yet, we knew we could do better. We listened to your feedback. Now, we’re rolling out an update to give you more command over your Private Tournament experience. One issue was clear: players were sharing private tournament passwords with unwanted participants. We’ve fixed that. Hosts can now remove unwanted participants from their in-game tournaments, giving them the control they need.
The Private Tournament feature has huge potential, and this update is just the beginning. Expect more innovative upgrades designed to further empower community-hosted events.
There’s never been a better time to dive into Axie Classic. The Classic Competitive Circuit is heating up. Guilds are getting fiercer. Classic received an art upgrade. It’s an exciting time in our digital nation — let’s keep pushing!
